Can be used to teach the importance of focus and attention in the science class/lab.
You show a poster board with a big arrow on each side and explain that oftentimes arrows indicate which direction we should follow. On one side of the board, the arrow is pointing to the left and on the other side, to the right. But, suddenly the arrows begins to change and point in in opposite directions, both to the right, then both to the left, then up and down! This is engaging, fun, and interactive.
*Note: There is an optional ending where the poster board drops open to reveal a policeman’s body with your face in the cutout. This is entirely optional- you don’t need to end with this, as the routine explained above is an exciting and engaging demonstration for the need to focus in the science classroom.
