Can be done at a moment’s notice- in the hallway, the cafeteria, or your classroom.
Hand your student a cube and a small box into which the cube fits snugly. On each of the cube’s six sides is a different color. With your back turned, the student chooses one color, and places the cube into the box. Handing the box over to you is all it takes – you instantly know which color was chosen! They can even place the box into your hands behind your back. Very easy to do!
And everything can be examined- there’s nothing to hide!
